« Pandora vs. Local Radio: Second is the First Loser | Main | Pandora’s Home-Grown Ratings: Methods & Motives »

...exponential growth in Triton Media ratings is old news? What's tired about growth? Radio hasn't experienced growth since the mid 1980s.

This was a bit of a pathetic hit piece. Attacking Pandora's IPO rings hollow when you see the stock prices of the radio conglomerates that debuted in the mid 1990s. the ones who haven't been de-listed are all hovering above $1 a share.

Pandora may not be able to hurt local radio with local services, but national formats have nothing new to offer and they're going to bleed to death in this bout.

Finally, someone speaks the truth. If Pandora really has superior numbers, all they need to do is encode their streams. Then people can see and make an apples-to-apples comparison. Thanks Richard & Glenda.
